“Good News”, it is the definition of the Gospel, so it’s only natural that Gospel and Christian music embraces the good news of Jesus Christ!

Why are so many people making the change to streaming and listening to Gospel music online?

“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” The Bible says in Philippians 4:8

Gospel music lifts us up, encourages us, and testifies to the God’s promises and hope.

Lift up the name of the Lord

Listening to music that lift up the name of the Lord, will not only lift up your mood and have a positive effect on your life, but also those around you. Jesus said “if I be lifted up I will draw all men unto me.”  (John 12:32)

Scripture songs

Listening and singing music with scripture, not only exalts the Lord’s greatness, it will stir your heart.

Victory and hope

We need hope more than ever in today’s world! We need to know in our hearts that the Answer is Jesus. Love victoriously in Jesus Christ!

The blood of Jesus

Gospel music brings about great excitement and conviction. It reminds us of the blood Jesus shed for us on Calvary. This is the foundation of our salvation.

Good sound doctrine

It is important that the music you listen to reflects sound doctrine. It’s just like the old saying, “you are what you eat”, the same goes for music. In today’s challenging times, we need to hide and digest as much of God’s Word in our hearts as possible

Two of my favorite songs are “Live” and “Beloved” by Marvin Sapp. I think they explains why I love listening to Gospel Music.

I see you smiling, Life is tearing you apart

Looking good on the outside, I can feel your heart

You feel helpless and hopeless

Isolated and confused, You feel like that there lays no purpose

So let this word encourage you

You shall live, and not die, Though you’ve been hurting

For sometime, By faith, You shall live

And not die, Though you have been hurting

For sometime, By faith

You shall live and not die

“Beloved” by Marvin Sapp

Beloved when you think of what the Lord has done, Every victory that he has won

The fact that you did not make it here on your own, It ought to make you say (thank you)

Beloved when you think about the price you paid, How on cavalry your soul he saved

The fact that he suffered, bled and died for your sin, It ought to make you say (thank you)

Thanks not expresses no thanks at all, Every now and then you ought to testify

Cause we overcome by the blood of the lamb, And the word of our testimony

I encourage you to listen to Kingdom Citizens Radio

Kingdom Citizens Radio is an online gospel radio focusing on uplifting music, inspirational conversation, words of meaningful encouragement, teaching, and faith humor, that will entertain and share the hope through Christ

Roman 10; 17 says “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God”. The foundation of our gospel music is based on God’s word, through the Bible. Building our faith the more we listen. There are many testimonies of faith becoming stronger through listening to gospel songs.
