Roman 10; 17 says “So then religion comes via way of means of listening to, and listening to via way of means of the phrase of God”.
Listening and singing along with gospel music draws us and others around us closer to God. It’s a way to uplift Jesus Christ as he stated in:
John 12; 32 that “And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself.
Nothing pleases the Lord more than when we sing His praises.
Psalm 150:1-5 Praise the Lord! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens! Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his excellent greatness! Praise him with trumpet sound; praise him with lute and harp! Praise him with tambourine and dance; praise him with strings and pipe! Praise him with sounding cymbals; praise him with loud clashing cymbals!
Listening to Gospel music has been shown to reduce stress and tension, as well as overcome our concerns or worries. Just as what you feed your body is important, what you feed your spirit and mind is just as important, if not more. Worship songs connect us, feeds and strengthens our mind and spirit.
