I really love music, listening and singing. While I’m not a gifted musician, I really love to hear the Lord’s people use their gift of music. Good Gospel music just happens to be one of my favorite genres. In fact, it has become a soundtrack on my Christian journey.

If you love listening to music, Kingdom Citizens Radio is amazing. It is uplifting and directs my worship. And I’m not alone, we can see many heroes in the Bible felt the same way!

Psalm 59:16-17

But I will sing of your strength; I will sing aloud of your steadfast love in the morning. For you have been to me a fortress and a refuge in the day of my distress. O my Strength, I will sing praises to you, for you, O God, are my fortress, the God who shows me steadfast love.

There are so many times in the Bible that talks about how important music is to our soul

The psalmist mentions numerous times that singing to God strengthens our faith. For the Israelites, music was an integral part of their journey, they showed their devotion to the Lord by singing Psalms.

Pslams 81 1-2

Sing aloud to God our strength; shout for joy to the God of Jacob. Raise a song, sound the tambourine, the sweet lyre with the harp

The Lord welcomes everyone into his Heavenly Kingdom with praise, music, and thanksgiving. Angelic music fills heaven.

Psalms 100 1-4 Psalm of Thanksgiving

Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth.

Worship the Lord with gladness; come into his presence with singing.

Know that the Lord is God. It is he that made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise. Give thanks to him, bless his name

Listening and singing along with Christian Gospel music has a unique way of strengthening our heart, soul, and mind. In today’s age of distractions, Gospel music shifts our focus on God.

I encourage you to listen to Kingdom Citizens Radio and see for yourself how it can change your life. Check back with us next week as I share the positive impact listening has had on my life.
