Listening to the gospel music, prayer, testimonials, and biblical teaching on Kingdom Citizens Radio has definitely changed my life for the positive. The uplifting songs and words has made a huge impact. I started streaming it in the morning when I woke up and now I listen to it all day. Here are just a few ways it has changed my life.

Singing The Lyrics In Prayer

Many gospel songs are requests of the Lord. Singing then intentionally and personally makes them your prayers. I’ve even written down the lyrics and posted as prayers around my home.

“Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.” -Ephesians 6:18

Keeps your mind on what really matters

With everything going on, it is easy to get distracted by things of little value. Listening to gospel musics helps me keep my mind on what matters. Aligning my priorities with God’s priorities.

Set your mind and keep focused habitually on the things above [the heavenly things], not on things that are on the earth [which have only temporal value].” -Colossians 3:

Focus on the positive

The Lord calls us to focus on what is good and positive. What we think about gets incorporated into our value system. In a world filled with negativity, when we align our value system with that of the Lord, gives a solid foundation.

“Finally, believers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable and worthy of respect, whatever is right and confirmed by God’s word, whatever is pure and wholesome, whatever is lovely and brings peace, whatever is admirable and of good repute; if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think continually on these things [center your mind on them, and implant them in your heart].” -Philippians 4

Gospel music refreshes my heart and soul

Listening and singing along to gospel music is an act of worship that heightens our awareness of God.

“Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.” -Psalm 51:10

I encourage you to listen to Kingdom Citizens Radio and see for yourself how it can change your life.
