I was recently asked why I listen to Christian gospel music radio, my answer, “It lifts me up, especially during difficult times and helps me stay on my walk with the Lord.” The songs have meaning and have an encouraging words.
I’m not alone, over 20 millions people tune in to religious or Christian radio each week, according to the Radio Advertising Bureau.
Colossians 3:16. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.
The Lord speaks through lyrics in certain songs, but that’s not all, I really enjoy listening to people share their raw testimonies.
How they came to find the Lord and even what brought them to listening to Citizens Kingdom Radio
2 Samuel 6:5. And David and all the house of Israel were celebrating before the LORD, with songs and lyres and harps and tambourines and castanets and cymbals.
Gospel radio has been proven time and time again, to have a powerful impact. It has a very unique way to resonate and bond with the listener. It has helped so many people, of every walk of life, to grow their walk with the Lord.
Gospel music artists are inspired by the word of God. It’s hard not to become engaged with this type of music and feel their emotion. It is inevitable that you will be clapping and singing along.
